(Tasks/Responsibilities)
The Quality Manager will develop and oversee all the food safety regulations, policies, and procedures for a packaging operation in a blow-molding facility. The successful candidate will help to develop, implement and enforce security and food safety standards, policies, and programs including HACCP, SQF and GFSI, regulatory audits, food safety training programs, standard operating procedures (SOP’s), product inspections, and standardized work instructions. https://jobs-cccllc.icims.com/jobs/7705/quality-manager/job Foster a Culture in which all Company employees share common purpose & comply with applicable laws & our Guiding Principles; • Audit facility for compliance with GMP standards and maintain the plant in compliance with corporate quality requirements; • Confirms testing standards, procedures, and equipment provide reliable results and prevent a shipment of defective products; • Lead problem-solving and process improvement with the plant and the customer to achieve resolution and elimination of product issues; • Train, mentor and develop Quality Technicians and peers to be skilled in the application of Quality Tools and Systems (SPC, DOE, Center lining Process, Control Plans, Problem Solving, etc.); • Establishes plant audit and standards, procedures, and equipment to provide accurate test results. Provide methods of measuring product; • Visit customer sites to gain knowledge of customer process and assist with quality problem-solving issues; • Comply with regulatory agencies, AIB, IMS and company's good manufacturing standards; Utilizes approved statistical standards such as CPK, Tz, and others; Maintain testing laboratory equipment accurately calibrated and in proper repair. • Provide for successful new product launches, by ensuring clear specification development, process capability definition, and attainment of customer satisfaction on initial shipments. • Analyze processes and systems to create continuous process improvements through measurement, analysis, and improvement plans. • Develop and improve the skill and knowledge of immediate staff and hourly personnel; will maintain training and development documentation. • Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree – Is preferred. Manufacturing – Requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience. Continuous Improvement – Experience in Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: - ASQ certification or equivalent preferred - SQF certification or equivalent preferred
